CALI-FOR-NEEEE-UHHH!!

Summer is basically over, and the ladies and I took a trip to the beautiful state of California! It was such a fun trip and very well deserved! Lemme break it down for ya ;)

Thursday:
Bright and early we gathered and hit the road towards San Clamente. The drive went by quickly as we sang along with the beautiful Jason Mraz! We drew on the window with dry erase markers and it was so fun! We put on a little hyphy as we entered Cali and got our groove on! haha!! We saw an accident on the freeway-a van was speeding and its tire blew out when it hit a side thingy...idk it was intense though but everyone seemed to be fine. We arrive in San clamente and ate Jack in the box & went over to Michelle's cousin, Andrea's house. She wasn't there so we hit the beach up!! woohoo for the beach!! we took pretty pictures (by pretty i mean silly!) and we played in the water. dont worry, a wave knocked all of us over and i ate it!! yeck!! After, we returned to Andrea's and got ready for dinner at Olive Garden :) . YUM!! I ended up getting a free meal due to a hair in my food, ha! Oh we saw a nasty couple...ill spare you details. HAHA! After dinner we returned to Andreas and i finally met her. She is such an amazing person...im sooo grateful for her hospitality. Her children are great too!! sweeethearttts!! We were exhausted so we crashed :)

Friday:
SEA WORLD for my very first time!!! oh the joy :) . I really enjoyed Sea World. Michelle has gone like 3 times this summer-lucky duck! hehe, it was so fun! i loved the sea lions soo much and the dolphins are soooo enchanting! haha we touched a baby dolphin that swam up to us, it was freaking tight!! I got a realllllly bad migraine headache which totally sucked but Michelle was smart enough to ask if they sold meds and they did so woohoo i was cured! lol. We rested and ate and saw a super hott guy with his cougar girlfriend...sooo sad haha! he was dang cute but his girlfriend looked twice his age. BLEH! Tori, Erica, Michelle and i went on a super fun ride that got us SOAKEd!! we also went on a roller coaster type ride which was super fun! basically, sea world ROCKED! we saw a dance show at the end and we fell in love with the drummers! haha, leaving sea world, we waiting for traffic to clear and while waiting, we blasted music and danced super cute...and by cute i mean ugly! haha definitely SO fun!! I'm sure california thinks we're crazy...but who shives a ghit, right? HAHAH!! It was late and we were hungry, so we made a taco bell stop...where we were disgusted by a guy AND girl leaving the girls bathroom...hmm? yeck!! the entire day was a super duper adventure!!

Saturday:
We slept in,...we definitely needed the rest. We were so tired and sore from walking around sea world. We ate breakfast and hit the road towards good o' Arizona :). we arrived home around 6:30. Later that night, we partied at a dance and started the "cupid shuffle"...THUPER AWETHOME!!

It was a fun weekend!! it was nice being away from arizona and this heat. I love these girls SO much and definitely am so thankful for the chance to do this trip with them. Friendships are so crucial to me , and having good friends like mine is a blessing i give thanks for everyday!!

Breaking & Entering

start from the bottom up for pictures:: i dont know how to use this thing yet!

So today Michelle & I were going to the lake with Heather but it didn't work out and we made plans for next week. Since we didn't have work for another few hours, we kindly thought of our boy-friends and their immense need of cleaning supplies for their bathroom. We hit up the store and put together a bucket of supplies. After putting it together, we went to their place, only to find no one home. We checked the door-It was opened. We took a deep breath and walked inside. yes, breaking and entering! (but for a good cause!) . We were so afraid that someone was going to pull up or be in the house so we rushed and found paper to write on. We left them a note that read something along the lines of:

"Dear boys, we hear you are in great need of cleaning supplies for your bathroom. Well it's your lucky day! we have provided you with the material necessary to get started. So get to work! sincerely, your secret admirers...[ya we go to collage!]"

the collage part was an inside joke. anyways, we placed the things on the table and took off running to my car. Once inside, I was brilliant and said to take a picture. The second i put the camera down, THERE WAS A CAR IN THE DRIVE WAY! where the crap did they come from?! Michelle & I screamed and TOOK OFF STAT!!!

a few hours letter, Cameron Brown texts us to say Cole was grateful for our gift. I asked "how did he know it was us?"...and he said they saw my car. SO MUCH FOR BEING SNEAKY DEAKY! haha!! It was a rockin' day though...after our adventure, we stuffed our faces at taco bell & later tonight played with Tori (poor kitty has been sick ) and angie & heather. so fun!!

this is the picture in my car that got us caught...haha mah bad!!

The Time Travelers Wife

This morning, Tori, Michelle & I went to see "The Time Traveler's Wife". Lemme tell ya, the movie was so beautiful!!! We all want to see it again!

I usually don't cry in theatres-I'm not easily "moved" by movies and the last time i cried in theatres was with "The Notebook". But oh dont worry, I bawled in this movie!!

We all fought back the "hyperventilation" that comes with holding back tears...haha it hurt! But i highly recommend this movie!! <3

So tonight i had the opportunity to hang out with 2 precious women whom i love dearly! Tori & Michelle...we clearly are beautiful, right? haha! I am thrilled because next week we are going to San Diego and are going to SEA WORLD for my first time!! woohoo!! oh the joy!! i cannot wait!! We invited Angela Linford to come with us and i am crossing my fingers that she can!

This beautiful life size barbie is marinda :) we missed her tonight due to her being sick. Definitely hope she feels better!
basically, these girls are amazing and such great examples to me. They dont even realize it but one learns so much from others who set good examples. I learn something from every single one of them & really appreciate them!! They are each so unique, intelligent and with great goals in life. I la la la love them!!

oh my beloved medical world

For as long as i remember, i have been in love with the world of medicine. Western medicine, holistic, alternative, chinese...name it and i'm sure i know about it. Learning and having knowledge is so powerful and i am incredibly thankful for the opportunity i have to go to school.
Finishing my pre-med freshman year at ASU, i was accepted into Nursing School at Pima Medical-mesa campus. I already did one block and will now continue unto my 2nd block. I am so excited to start back up again and start Hospital rounds in January. I plan to specialize in pediatrics, labor and delivery...but for some reason i get the feeling i will fall in love with surgery when i do my clinicals. haha :) I cannot wait to learn about pharmacology and learn about the pharmaceutical part of western medicine. Geek much? yep! I've been a pediatric CNA for over a year now & I work with developmentally disabled children,....so i am constantly giving thanks for my knowledge and opportunities. Life is SO good and one always has to work hard to achieve their goals. For now, i know i am where i need to be and hope other girls my age are as determined as me to continue their education. A woman who is educated in both spiritual and secular studies, is priceless :)

Keith Urban!

So one of my best friends, Marinda, had never been to a concert and obtained Keith Urban tickets from a family friend. KEITH URBAN!! oh my goodness....lemme tell ya, it was such a great concert!!

Once we got there, we went picture crazy and took pics with his tour bus. The people plus the atmosphere and loud music made it quite enjoyable. Sugarland couldn't open for Keith Urban so instead, a super cute artist named Sarah Buxton performed. And then....Keith went on stage and started what is now my favorite concert i've been to!

I've had the great opportunity to attend several concerts, but by far Keith Urban had the best one. His music is great and he is so talented! We had a great time & took tons of pictures! I'm glad i was able to be with her for her first concert experience :)
