Day 05 - A picture of your favorite memory
This one's easy,...I cannot get PERU out of my mind!!
(( click HERE for my Peru post from last August ))
I think that post, though super long, doesn't even begin to describe my feelings about Peru.
I miss it so much and I am seriously desperate to go back....right now! I want to see my family, do more service and talk and learn more from all the amazing people there! Their view of the Gospel inspires me so much for they are so poor, but so thankful for every thing they receive. They take nothing for granted and really work so hard.
There are so many sad moments, like the children working in the streets or elderly begging for money. I cry every time, and by cry i mean i hyperventilate and give myself fevers from all the crying. There's only so much I can do for them, but i always say a prayer for everyone i meet along the way.
So many of my experiences there are so special to me that no one besides who i was with knows about. So many tender mercies and so many testimony builders...I am in love with Peru and i cannot wait to go back!
this be my house in Lima. Where i took my first steps,...aww!
Eating in "norky's" in Mira Flores after my dentist visit. Pollo a la braza is probably the worlds best chicken. no joke. MmmmMmMM!!
Plaza de Armas...aka presidential palace. too cool.
One of the many Cathedrals in Lima. So beautiful!
Peru, is and forever will be my most treasured memory :)
